Alex Miller, a country music performer who was on American Idol Season 19 contestant was involved in a deadly vehicle accident in Kentucky.

Miller’s crew posted a statement on Instagram stating that he was returning home from vacation with a number of his bandmates when a vehicle struck their bus.

Alex Miller had met with a fatal accident, according to the report he was a passenger and the driver who was driving a tour bus died in an accident. He was with the other band members and was returning from the vacation tour. They were on a bus and were suddenly hit by a car.

His manager reported that “Sadly, the driver of the car is deceased. Alex sends his thoughts and prayers to the gentleman and his family,” the statement continued. “No one on the bus was injured. Kentucky State Police are investigating.”
