As Sam Wilson, Anthony Mackie assumes the legendary position that Chris Evans‘ Steve Rogers had occupied. Sam struggles with the duties of becoming the next Sentinel of Liberty after his adventure in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, where Steve gives him the shield in Avengers: Endgame.
New Suit Of Captain America Updated
Fans can see the updated look of Sam Wilson wearing his new outfit in the most recent Captain America: Brave New World photograph, published in Empire Magazine. In contrast to the red, white, and blue stripes shown in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, this version of the costume has a larger amount of blue on the shirt. Notably, Anthony Mackie’s criticism of Sam’s heavy headgear—which required considerable special effects editing led to the decision to cut the headpiece from the Disney+ series.
The leader, Samuel Sterns, played by Tim Blake Nelson in Captain America: Brave New World, may be heading for some big changes, according to director Julius Onah. Since his initial appearance in The Incredible Hulk in 2008, Sterns has not been seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
