Ryan Gosling nominated for supporting actor will perform “I’m Just Ken,” a rock anthem from “Barbie,” in the vein of the 1980s. The nominated song “Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People)” from “Killers of the Flower Moon” will be performed by Osage Nation members.
The front-runner for best actor is thought to be Irish actor Cillian Murphy, who portrayed physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer during his leadership of the effort to create the first atomic bomb. Awards commentators believe Paul Giamatti of “The Holdovers” is Murphy’s primary rival.
