Who Will Be Performing At This Year’s Brit Awards?

It seems that the Brit Awards will be leading the Grammy Awards in honoring the achievements of the female artists since last year.

The Brit Awards will take place this Saturday, March 2, at the O2 Arena in London, the British music ceremony. Several celebrities, including Dua Lipa, RAYE, Mahalia, Little Simz, and Arlo Parks, are competing for major honors.

After last year’s debate concerning categories with all-male nominees, representation has much improved this year. Four of the five contenders for Best New Artist were female, and over half of the Song of the Year and Artist of the Year nominees were female performers.

Many of the nominated musicians will perform live during the ceremony, as is customary. Here are those that have been verified thus far.

Do You Know Who Is The Presenter Of The Brit Awards?

Presenters Maya Jama of Love Island: All Stars and Clara Amfo and Roman Kemp of radio will emcee this year’s awards ceremony.

“The wonderful thing about The Brits is that beautiful chaos can occur on live TV; you never know what might happen!” Said Amfo.

Kemp went on, “I cried when they told me.” I’ve always held the British in high regard since there’s nothing like the enthusiasm in the UK.

Everyone has been brainstorming and writing down what they hope to get out of it, according to Jama. “Don’t mess this up, this will be something to show my grandkids,” I’m telling myself in my head.
