Kerala University is an affiliate University located in  Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. It  was established in 1937 before the state of Kerala comes in existence. Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma become the first chancellor of the Kerala University.

It was among the 16 university in the state of Kerala, earlier this university called as University of Travancore which falls in the princely state of Travancore and at present it is now become the southern part of the Kerala and some part under the state of Tamil Nadu during 1937. The University was earlier founded as the Maharaja’s Free School by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal with Mr John Roberts. in 1834 . The Headmaster is from Christian Missionary and the school grow into collage latter in 1866 which was then affiliated to the Madras University.

Kerala University is a state medical university whose campus spread over 75 acres and it is government medical college. The university is based on the Kerala University Health Act 2010 which was also established in 2010. The Kerala University is reputed University it offers courses  like BBA,MBA,MCA. The University was founded in 1937 it was when known as University of Travancore.

Eligibility Kerala University admission for UG courses

Undergraduate i.e. UG courses for which a candidate must 10+2 level with minimum 50% grades. UG courses like B Tech candidate must have 10+2 and KEAM scores.

For B Arch admission candidate must be 10+2 and NATA and KEAM grade.

BFA 10+2 and depends on entrance test.

BPA merit in 10+2 as well entrance test.

For B.P.Ed  eligibility is 10+2 and aptitude test as well as entrance based.

For admission in PG courses candidate must have UG degree with 50% of aggregate marks.

For M.Tech admission candidate must have UG degree or bachelor’s degree in science and must have GATE score.

For admission in MBA UG degree and KMAT/AMAT/CAT good grades ,GD and PI as well.
