Ebon Moss Bachrach recently appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, Ebon was very candid during the program and revealed his character in the upcoming movie The Fantastic 4.
He disclosed that motion capture technology will be used to depict Ben Grimm, also known as the Thing, rather than a real suit.
He also revealed that he believes that they have completed a suit in the past. They’ve moved past Michael Chiklis’s costume, which was reportedly really uncomfortable, He also said that It’s a little kind of cosplay, kind of amateur that kind of stuff now with the technology we have.
Jimmy Kimmel candidly asked Moss-Bachrach to clarify whether the movie would take place in the 1960s as suggested by the latest teaser poster from Marvel, which featured Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards also known as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm also known as the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm also known as the Human Torch, and Moss-Bachrach as the Thing.
Ebon Moss simply joked, much to the dismay of the fans, that the poster did, in fact, appear to be 1960s themed that image does seem to be ’60s themed.
The Fantastic 4 Movie Storyline In Comic
The Fantastic Four are astronauts who, after being exposed to cosmic rays in space, are transformed into superheroes, however, specifics about the plot are still lacking. Reed becomes capable of stretching his body to incredible lengths; Sue, his girlfriend (and future wife), becomes invisible and can create strong forcefields by manipulating light; Johnny, Sue’s brother, can fly by turning his body into fire; and Ben, Reed’s closest friend, grows into a giant with an orange boulder for a body and superhuman strength.
“Fantastic Four” Marvel Upcoming movie will be directed by Matt Shakman “WandaVision,” “And Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, who will work from a script penned by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer. July 25, 2025, is when The Fantastic Four is scheduled to open in theaters.
