Allison Holker has finally spoken out about the swirling rumors surrounding her late husband, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, and his professional relationship with Ellen DeGeneres.
In a recent interview, Holker addressed speculation that has been circulating on social media about whether DeGeneres played any role in tWitch’s personal struggles before his tragic passing in December 2022. The beloved dancer, DJ, and producer took his own life, leaving fans and friends heartbroken.
Rumors resurfaced after DeGeneres made an emotional announcement about stepping away from Hollywood following the end of her talk show. Some online users speculated about a deeper connection between tWitch’s death and the reported toxic workplace allegations that plagued The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2020.

“Ellen was nothing but supportive and loving toward Stephen. He truly loved working with her, and their bond was real,” Holker stated firmly. “These rumors are completely false and unfair. It’s heartbreaking that people are trying to twist such a tragic situation into something it’s not.”
Holker emphasized that her husband was dealing with private struggles that had nothing to do with his professional relationships. “If you knew tWitch, you’d know he was full of light, and he wouldn’t want his legacy to be clouded by misinformation.”
DeGeneres, who has kept a relatively low profile since her show ended, also recently paid tribute to tWitch, calling him “one of the most incredible people I’ve ever known.”

“We should remember Stephen for the joy he brought into the world, not for baseless speculation,” Holker concluded.
