28 Years Later’s Alpha Zombie Breaks Silence: Chi Lewis-Parry Spills Shocking Secrets on Spine-Ripping Scenes, Monster Prosthetics & That Terrifying Train Injury!

Chi Lewis-Parry is not just playing a monster—he became one for the upcoming horror sequel “28 Years Later.” And now, the terrifying “Alpha Zombie” is finally speaking out.

In a new and electrifying interview, the 6-foot-9 former MMA fighter and rising Hollywood star opened up about what it was really like becoming the spine-ripping, fear-inducing Samson—the film’s most feared creature. And let’s just say, it wasn’t all special effects and camera tricks.

“They strapped on this massive prosthetic that took hours every day,” Chi revealed. “It was hot, heavy, and made me feel like a monster—perfect for Samson.” The prosthetic body suit was so huge, it made him look almost inhuman on camera, exactly what director Danny Boyle wanted.

But while fans are buzzing about the violent scenes teased in the trailer, Chi had his own favorite moment on set. “The spine-ripping scene? That was wild,” he laughed. “It felt brutal—but also weirdly fun. The special effects team nailed it.”

Still, things weren’t always fun behind the scenes. Chi shared a shocking moment that could have derailed production entirely—a real injury on a moving train during a night shoot.

“We were doing this crazy scene with strobe lights and tight spaces. I slipped, slammed into a pole, and cracked my ribs,” he admitted. “But I got back up. Samson doesn’t take sick days.”

The actor’s dedication is already earning him major respect in the horror community. Some are even calling him the next-gen horror icon. With his towering presence, terrifying on-screen energy, and insane commitment to the role, Chi Lewis-Parry might be Hollywood’s newest nightmare.

As “28 Years Later” races toward its release, fans are more hyped than ever. And with Chi’s raw, real-life stories from set now coming out, it’s clear that this film isn’t just another zombie flick—it’s a full-on apocalypse.

Don’t blink when Samson’s on screen. He’s not your average zombie—and Chi Lewis-Parry is definitely not your average star.
