The Death of Robin Hood is a new movie starring Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer. The news was out on 3 May 2024 on Friday. The news was confirmed by Michael Sarnoski.
Michael Sarnoski, the director of Pig and A Quiet Place Day One, has announced that Jackman and Comer have joined his future film, Deadline reported on Friday.
In the grim retelling of the Robin Hood story seen in The Death of Robin Hood, the protagonist is seen “grappling with his past after a life of crime and murder.”

Jackman’s portrayal of Robin Hood is “a battle-worn loner who finds himself gravely injured and in the hands of a mysterious woman, who offers him a chance at salvation.”
The director Michael Sarnoski, states, “It has been an amazing opportunity to reinvent and freshly innovate the story we all know of Robin Hood.” “Finding the ideal cast to adapt the story for the big screen was crucial. I’m ecstatic and fully certain that Hugh and Jodie will vividly and poignantly bring this tale to life.”
World sales rights for The Death of Robin Hood will be handled by WME Independent, and the film will be showcased at the Cannes Film Market in 2025.
