JoSAA is Joint Seat Allocation Authority set up by the Ministry of Education. In order to manage a big and many institution for allocation of the admissions for year 2021-22. The institutions include the 23 IITs, 26 IIITs ,31 NITs, HEST Shibpur and 33 other institutions Funded by government. Admission to all these government institution will be taken up in one place.
Seats are allotted to the JEE(Main) or JEE Advance according to the numbers that are gain by the candidates.
Application In JoSAA 2021
The candidates must have score the 75% of marks in intermediate or must come in top 20. ST and SC and PWD the % for qualifying is 65% in order to take admission in IITs. Candidates who qualify for JEE Advance 2921 will become eligible for examination in JoSAA 2021 counselling.
Counselling Fees For JoSAA 2021
Students have to pat the counselling fees for the JoSAA 2021. It is Rs 35000 in case of seat acceptance and Rs 15000 in case of reserved category. The fees is paid after the candidate download the allotment letter 2021. Fees can be paid online as per the satisfaction of the candidate but if he want he can also pay through challan.
Counselling Fees Is Not Refundable
Once the 7th round comes JoSAA fees is not refundable. JoSAA conducted seat allotment in 7 round before 7th round you cannot get refund after the 7th round. It is advice to read all the related information regarding the counselling fee.
All India Quota Or Home State Quota
In Counselling their are two quota Home State that is HS and 50% of the seat are reserved under this Quota and other 50% seats are reserved for the other state Quota. This is the quota for the candidates who belongs to the state where NIT is located.
Other State Quota that is QS means 50% seats are belongs to those who are from all the states that is from all over the country apart from the Home state where NITs is located.
Result of the first round
The counselling result of JoSAA 2021 for round 1 has been out visit the official website of it, josaa.nic.in on the 27 October in the morning 10 am. Now candidates can check their allotment of seat using their JEE Main by login with their Application number and Password.
Those candidates allotted the seat in Counseling 2021 will have to report online and complete the admission process till October 30 by 5 pm. Total six round will be conducted for counseling.
JoSAA cutoff 2021
In the form of opening an dosing rank JoSAA release cutoff 2021. Students can download the pdf through the official website. This list contains the list of all the colleges with the rank for all the academic programs.

- A new page open enter your JEE application number password and security pin.
- Wait for a sec and seat allotment result list appears.
- Download the list for future reference.
Those candidates who have JEE (Main ) registration 2021 have to use their application number to log in and those who did not register for JEE (Main) 2021 must have applied for the JEE Advanced 2021 can also use their JEE main application number 2020 to log in. Candidate who applied and registration for JEE Advance 2021 can use their JEE Advance password otherwise use the JEE Main 2021 password.
Those candidates who want to freeze the seat can upload the documents and pay the relevant fee. In case the candidate don’t want to freeze the seat can make for round 2.
