Jhulan Goswami is an Indian Women Cricketer plays for Indian National women’s Cricket team. She is all rounder. She bats right hand   and bowling right arm medium fast. She is one of the gems in our Indian Cricket team she announced her retirement from Women Twenty2o International in August 2018.

Childhood And Early Life Of Jhulan Goswami

She belongs to West Bengal she was born on 25 November 1982 in the town of Chakdaha in Nadia district. At the very young age she start playing cricket and she develop an interest in cricket but earlier she a football fan, at age of 15 she start playing cricket when she watched the 1992 Cricket World Cup. She was more influenced by the Australian batter Belinda Clark in 1997 Women’s Cricket World Cup.

The place where she lived had no facilities of playing and learning cricket, So she migrated to Kolkata in love for cricket and to play cricket.

Starting Career Of Jhulan Goswami

When she finished the training for cricket in Kolkata, She went to play for The Bengal Women’s Cricket team. When she was 19 years she made her debut in International cricket in 2002 against England in one day international match played in Chennai.

With Mitali Raj, Jhulan Goswami helped to women cricket team to win the first match against England. She become the member of Asian Squad in Afro-Asia Tournament in India in 2007 and that year she also won the best ICC women’s Cricketer of the year.

Mitali Raj was the captain of Indian Women’s team at that time when she took the captaincy from her and become the captain of the women Cricket team in 2008 and hold the captaincy till 2011. She become the 4 Women to cross 100 wickets in One Day International. She was awarded with several awards in 2010 with Arjun Award and also Padma Shri in 2012.

Anushka Sharma comeback movie Chakda Express which is biopic of Jhulan Goswami. Chakda Express is completely based on the life story of the former women’s cricketer Jhulan.

A short video of the Anushka Sharma’s performance as Jhulan was announced on 8 January 2022. While Anushka Sharma’s fan were very happy to see her back in Jhulan character and have lots of expectation from her, but there are some who are not like Anushka as Jhulan, the reason behind this is her accent and face did not match the character’s face it drew criticism

On twitter Directer of the Chakda Express wrote, Super stuff Looking forward to it. Taapsee Panu who played Mithali Raj in Chakda Express she also wrote sisters go for it. There are positive response from some stars.

The movie Chakda Express tell us about the life of Jhulan and her struggle to take up cricket as a career. Jhulan taken up cricket as a career when in India women are considered back in every field she struggled and reach to her goal. These struggles and success of Jhulan are portrayed by Anushka Sharma who is really an actor who deserve to play the character of Jhulan.

Disappointment From Chakda Express Teaser

The teaser was disappointed because Anushka is not at all resemble to Jhulan So, one of the main disappointment from this teaser is that apart from that Anushka’s accent is also seems to be not perfect. There are mixed response from the fans. The one who like Anushka definitely like the teaser and her comeback and they are looking forward to it. But Some criticize Anushka Sharma to play the character of Jhulan Goswami.

we can wait for the movie to release we can not come on any assumptions before the release of the movie. The release date is not yet disclose.
